In our company we produce the cut-flowers Calla and Hortensia. We are located minutes away from the Aalsmeer flower auction. The growth is optimalised in our greenhouses by using high technology greenhouses and growing on hydrophonics. The hydrophonics allow us to re-use the water coming back from the plants, also the plants benefit from the CO2 that is released by using the heatingsystem. In the hortensia, also know under the name “hydrangea”, we have the 2 varieties Emerald and Sunsation. Sunsation is an spectaculaire Bi-color variety exclusively grown by de Boer Hortensia. We have the flowers on the market between May and October. In the calla, also know as “Zantedeschia” we have a constantly chancing assortment mainly from the Captain varieties. We have flowers on the market from half April to June, and September to the end of November.
